Maruti XL6 is going to be launched in India on 21 August. Now one can book this premium MPV at Rs 11k. The XL6 comes with 6 seats and will be sold via Nexa dealership. It sports a chunky look upfront, with unique design elements below the LED headlights. The model will not come with a sunroof but will be fitted with roof rails. It will share its doors and tailgate with the standard Ertiga.
The XL6 will be available in two variants – Zeta and Alpha – in our market. Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be offered in 2+2+2 seating configuration, with the middle row featuring 2 pilot seats instead of the bench seat. This will make the ride more comfortable for middle row passengers. The middle pilot seats will probably be used by the most important people traveling in the MPV.
XL6 will get 1.5 litre K15B smart hybrid petrol engine that makes 105hp of power and 138 NM of torque. The XL6 will come with 5 speed manual and 4 speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options. It is expected to be priced Rs 50,000 more than current Ertiga and rival Mahindra Marazzo.
