Datsun has launched the Go & Go+ plus CVT variants in India. with prices starting at Rs 5.94 lakh (GO) and Rs 6.58 lakh (GO+) this makes these two cars most affordable CVT equipped cars of India. The CVT is a convenience option that has the potential to make the two vehicles more lucrative for urban buyers. CVTs are very smooth as compared to AMTs and they offer better fuel effeciency too. Go & Go plus also gets sport mode, as claimed by company this will ease overtaking manoeuvres. Below are the ex-showroom prices of both cars and their respective variants.

Both cars are powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine which delivers 76 hp and 104 Nm. Mileage claimed by CVT variants is 20.07 kmpl. It comes with a standard warranty of 2 years / unlimited kms. You can also extend warranty to 5 years. Datsun has paid more attention to safety in GO & GO+. Both cars come equipped with better frontal crash protection, reinforcements in the roof, two airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist (BA), and vehicle dynamics control (VDC). parking sensors feature is standard across all variants.
Upgraded Datsun GO will compete with the likes of Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago, Maruti Alto, and Maruti WagonR. In case of upgraded Datsun GO+ it doesn’t seem to have any direct competitor. However if we consider the price it will rival the likes of Renault Triber. As Trainer is only 7 seater car that lies in this price range.
